Danish

It's Friday morning before I get ready for class. I know I said I was going to have my blog up last night, but my internet was horrible and I was not able to upload pictures, so I got up earlier today to finish my post!!!

For the last two days of this week we have been preparing our Danish dough. I absolutely love making the Danish and Puff Pastry, I have found out that it is one of my favorite things to do so far!! I typically do not like Danish, especially the ones you see in the grocery store that are individually wrapped but come in a box, or the ones you find at the gas stations. Plus, some of the Danishes I have had I just have not liked, so I was a little skeptical. But I should have known when it's made from scratch and BUTTER is involved it's definitely going to be a lot different than Grocery store or Gas Station Danish.

This dough was a lot more nicer to make than the previous doughs we have made. Some of the rules still follow for the Danish dough. But this one requires 4 folds but you put in the fridge for 20 minutes after each fold.

Here are some pictures of my Danish I made in class!!

Here is my dough for the Danish, the final rolling of it! I had to take a picture. And the brush next to is it to brush off extra flour!

This is one way to make a Danish...looks like a Cannoli in a way!!!!

The Single Snail!!!!

The Double Snail!! I really liked this one!

I call this on the present, because it looks like one! This is my favorite one! I loved making this one!!

Here are all of my products! I made a Danish in shape of a Pinwheel can you find it???? I gave a lot of my products away yesterday!

I hope you enjoyed my pastries! Keep posted for this weekends blog post!!!!!

Have a great weekend!!
